Hi I'm Ed ^_^

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ed Johns, but my friends call me Angel Ed. Born in New Jersey, I’ve been living with Multiple Sclerosis since I was just 8 years old. Despite the physical challenges I’ve faced, I’ve always found ways to stay positive and give my life and my heart back to others.

In 2004, I embarked on a pilgrimage to Lourdes with a group of 44 people, seeking healing for my physical ailments. Instead, I received a spiritual gift that has guided me ever since. For 11 years, I visited nursing homes regularly, developing a group of “forever friends” who would join me in visiting the lonely and forgotten. We brought joy and companionship to those who needed it most.

In July 2016, I traveled to the Philippines and discovered the harsh realities of poverty. I began visiting orphanages and bringing food, toys and love to the children and those living on the streets. Seeing the smiles on their faces humbled me and made me forget my own struggles with MS. With the help of friends from the US, we’ve been able to provide essential items like clothes, food, snacks and school supplies.

But my heart goes out to all living beings, not just humans. Again with the support of friends and local veterinarians, we’ve been feeding, spaying/neutering, and treating stray cats and dogs in our community. It breaks my heart to see animals suffer from hunger or illness, so I’m working hard to make a difference.

I’m living on a limited income from Social Security, but every little bit counts. If you’d like to make a donation or learn more about my work, please visit my Facebook page and send me a message for more information.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Remember, every life matters – human or animal – and we can all make a difference by lending a helping hand or paw.

God Bless you and your loved ones.

Angel Ed
